Instructions

In a medium bowl (or a big jar), whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), cinnamon, vanilla, chia seeds, and salt.

Dice the apple small—think chickpea-sized. Toss it with the lemon juice if you’re using it.
▢
Stir the apple into the mixture, then add the rolled oats and mix again. It will look looser than you want right now; that’s normal.

Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours (overnight). If you’re in a rush, 4 hours works, but the oats will be a bit more chewy.
▢
In the morning, stir well from the bottom (chia settles). If it’s too thick, splash in 1–3 Tbsp (15–45 g) milk to loosen.
▢
Top and eat (nuts, raisins, and/or extra yogurt).
